Reception intake, September 2026

We are pleased to advise you that the Primary 202 Admissions Round will be live online from 9th September 2025

Parents and carers of children born between 01/09/2021 and 31/08/2022, and those families who received permission to defer their child’s admission to reception class until September 2026, are invited to make an applications from then.

Secondary School places for September 2026

Halton Borough Council is responsible for the administration of the admissions process. Parents and Carers must complete a preference form online at www.halton.gov.uk/schooladmissions, which will issue an e-receipt email to you.

Online applicants can login to view the outcome of their application on 1st March 2026. 

Don’t leave it too late – you may miss out on the school place you want if you apply late. The deadline is 31st October 2025.

Parents and Carers of pupils from other local authorities should complete their own local authority form, but may include Halton schools as preferences on their form
